Malé is densely packed. Much of what you need may be within walking distance, but finding the right shop can still mean asking around, walking several streets, calling numbers, and trying again.
Hoadhaa began after one too many afternoons like that. The idea is straightforward: make a careful, searchable record of local businesses and what they sell, then show people how reliable each piece of information is.
The first work is in Greater Malé because that is where the problem was felt most directly. The product, language support, and contribution model are being shaped for communities throughout the Maldives—not just the capital.
Hoadhaa means 'find' in Dhivehi. That is the standard: reduce the wandering, make local knowledge useful, and be honest about what has and has not been checked.
